What we use
The Purgio app uses a single strictly necessary cookie: a secure, httpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in after you log in. It contains only your session token, is not readable by JavaScript, and is removed when you log out.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how our site and app are used — which pages are visited and how people find us — so we can improve them. This sets a couple of Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga and _gid) that hold a randomly generated identifier. We use the data only for our own statistics; we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
Inside the signed-in app we also use OpenReplay, a session-replay tool that helps us see where the app is confusing or broken so we can fix it. It records anonymised interactions (clicks and navigation) and stores a small __openreplay identifier; text you type into fields is masked and not captured. We use it only to improve the product, and we do not use it for advertising or sell the data.
What we don't use
We do not use advertising, retargeting or profiling cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.
Payments
Checkout and billing are handled by Stripe on their own pages; any cookies set there are governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies.
